"Combining advances in neuroscience and technology with personalized care"

Coaching is not the same discipline as therapy. During coaching sessions, things such as personal goals, strengths and weaknesses, academic or job success, organizational skills, day-to-day living challenges, and peer and family social skills are discussed.

Coaching helps individuals to better manage current problem areas in their life through direct problem solving and encourages behaviors resulting in successful independent functioning.

Coaching a client with AD/HD requires a commitment of two to three 1 hour office visits per month, and sometimes additional checks by phone or e-mail.  For children, parental visits are usually incorporated into the schedule.  Significant others also participate from time to time with our adult clients.
